Millsite Lake (2019) New

 

 

It was a beautiful day for a kayak. There was also some color in the trees today.   There were 7 paddlers, Kim, Eric,  Deb, Alice, Hugh, Dave, and Amy.  Everyone paddled around the lake for a lovely 4.4 miles taking in the beautiful islands, tiny lighthouse,  and stone cliffs. Then 3 people decided they needed more and went around again. However, they must have decided kayak Chinese Firedrills would be a great idea because none of them came back to shore in their own kayaks.  It is always good to try something new and different.  At the end, those three had completed 9 miles. Five of the seven went out to dinner at a wonderful Italian place in Alex Bay.
