Owasco Lake Inlet (2019)

 

 

Bill E arrived first in the fog.  Kim and Eric joined him.  We really wanted to paddle this Fathers Day.  The rain was supposed to taper off by noon and stop by 1:00.  Ha.  It let up at 1:00 and became a mist. Bill went home.  Eric and Kim thought they would wait it out at the newly opened Cascade restaurant, Drifters.  The food was very, very good and the weather cleared. Eric checked the radar and a blob of green was heading right for us.  We headed for home, too.  We left the rainy inlet to the heron, geese, ducks and beaver.
