Lights on the Lake (2020)
PADDLE IS CANCELED. WE WILL GATHER AT THE RETREAT AT 4:00 PM TO VIEW BAR LIGHTS AND EAT WARM FOOD.
Weather permitting, we will view the Lights on the Lake from our kayaks. We will paddle down to the Onondaga Lake Parkway entrance to Lights on the Lake, wait for the lights to be turned on, then paddle back along the shore.
Note: This trip is for experienced paddlers only.
PFDs must be worn. White lights are required per the US Coast Guard (e.g. flashlight, lantern). You can also add Christmas lights to your boat or yourself.
Launch time is 4 PM.
Directions to launch: Use the Wegman's Dog Park entrance, drive under John Glenn bridge, look for launch area on the right.
We will refresh at The Retreat 6:30ish, if there is a paddle.
If the paddle is canceled, we can get together at The Retreat at 4:00 PM.
