Hudson River Greenland Festival, Croton Point Park July 9-12, 2020

CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19.  STAY SAFE.

 

 

NOTE: The festival date has changed from June to July.  Registration is still April 1st.


Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, is the site of the Greenland Festival on the Hudson River.  It is a good place to learn important kayaking skills and improve techniques.  There is a fee of $300 (plus registration and $3.20 insurance fees) which includes camping and meals. 

Registration will open April 1, 2020.  When you sign up please post your name on the message board.  Ray has offered to contact them so that we are all camping on the same loop.

8:00 am - 4:00 pm: Hudson River Paddling Trip (check back for launch time)

8:00 am - 8:00 pm: Registration and Lodging Assignments at the Lodge  

10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Informal Paddling and Mentoring at the Little Beach 

10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Paddle Making at the Lodge

2:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Skin-on-frame repair clinic, near the lodge

Directions from north of Westchester County:

Take your best route to Route 9 South. Take Route 9 South to Croton Point Avenue and follow signs for the park.
