Lights on the Lake
Experienced Paddlers Only
Launch Time 4:00 PM |
Here we go for our annual “Lights on the Lake” Paddle. From the launch site, we will paddle south along the eastern shore to the area near the entrance of "Lights on the Lake" off the Onondaga Lake Parkway and wait for the lights to be turned on. At that time, we will return along the shore to view the "Lights in the Lake" display. Because of the time of year, this trip is only for experienced paddlers who are properly prepared for cold weather and cold water conditions. For those interested, we will be going out to dinner after the paddle.
All paddlers must wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD and have lighting on their boat.
Note: As always, be sure to check the Web site on the morning of the scheduled trip in the event there are a last minute changes. We will also check last minute conditions at the launch site before we launch.
