Sunday, April 22, 2018 (Launch Time 1:00 PM)
We will be paddling from the State Park up Sterling Creek and back. The distance will be determined by the water condition on the creek. We will launch at Fair Haven Beach State Park at 1:00 PM. Please be sure that you are properly dressed for the paddle and have all appropriate equipment. (See Directions Below).
Note: We typically stop half way through the paddle for a break. Feel free to bring something to snack on. Also, be sure to note the weather conditions by clicking the "Local Weather Forecast" button, and check the website for last minute changes or cancellations.
Directions from Syracuse: Fair Haven Beach State Park is located on Lake Ontario west of Oswego. Check your New York State map for directions. A suggested route is as follows: Take Rt. 481 north from Syracuse to Fulton. In Fulton, go west on Rt. 3. Stay on Rt. 3 to Rt. 104A. Turn left on Rt. 104A and follow to the park entrance.
