| This paddle is approximately 10 miles
in length. There is a restaurant immediately
before the lake where we will stop for a
break. We will launch at 1:00 PM. Please
be sure that you are properly dressed for the
paddle and have all appropriate equipment.
There is a restaurant (The Crow's Nest)
immediately before the lake where we will stop
to dine on the terrace. Bring money if you
wish to participate. Prices are reasonable.

Directions from Syracuse: Take the NYS Thruway west to the
Waterloo Exit (Exit 41). At the end of the exit
ramp, proceed south on Rt. 414 to Routes 5 &
20. Turn right on Routes 5 & 20. Proceed
through the next three stoplights on Route 5 &
20. After the 3rd stoplight, take your next
left on to Oak Street. There is a sign for the
Community Center and boat ramp if you look
closely. Drive all the way to the end of Oak
Street. You will pass by the Community Center on
your right just before crossing a small bridge
onto Oak Island.
