Since the weather is a little better, it looks like this time it's a go for our annual “Lights on the Lake” Paddle. We will be paddling along the eastern shore of Onondaga Lake. Because of ice conditions on parts of the lake, we have changed the launch site and the launch time. There is a small parking area off of Onondaga Lake Parkway south of the park entrance. There is a sign that says "Butterfly Garden of Hope". Because of the time of year, this trip is only for experienced paddlers who are properly prepared for cold weather and cold water conditions. For those who are interested, we will be going to a local restaurant for dinner after the paddle.
All paddlers must wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD.
